COVID-19 Guidelines

We will update and revise these guidelines as needed based on local and national recommendations.

We ask you to help us as we take all possible precautions to protect the health and safety of our patrons, staff, production personnel, and performers.
Following the guidance of the CDC, the City of Philadelphia, the Actors Equity Association, and feedback from our patrons, here are the current guidelines for attending a show. • Mask-wearing is optional at Plays & Players Theatre except for the following performances of Torch Song where masks are required:

Sunday, May 12th at 2pm
Thursday, May 16th at 7pm

• Masks will be available in the lobby for those who need one.

• Proof of vaccination is no longer required at any performance.

• Social distancing will be observed as much as possible. As part of the checkout process, you will have an opportunity to share your seating needs and preferences.

Additional information and Precautions

We are taking measures to address COVID-19 safety as best as we can and will modify our guidelines as needed.

Additional measures we have instituted include:

• There will be no physical tickets. Tickets will be delivered electronically. Playbills will be available at the theatre, as well as digitally via our website.

• Hard surfaces such as armrests and chair backs will be cleaned after each use.

• We have engaged a trained COVID Safety Manager who will be present at the theater and help ensure that all safety precautions are being taken.

• Hand sanitizer will be available at stations in the lobby and restrooms.
