May 31, 2007 - Ken Finkel Ken Finkel has served as WHYY's Executive Director of Arts & Culture Service since 2000. His projects there include nine long-form national television productions and more than 100 short-form videos about the cultural experience in Philadelphia. Ken has been working in Philadelphia Arts & Culture for three decades -- first as curator of prints and photographs at The Library Company of Philadelphia, where he wrote several books and catalogues. He then went on to serve as a Program Officer in Arts & Culture at the William Penn Foundation. Ken is on Temple University's adjunct faculty in American Studies where he teaches courses about (of course) the culture of Philadelphia.
